Rush Hockey

As a club we are looking to run a group of taster sessions of rush hockey during the summer. At the moment we are looking at running these on a Thursday night but will let you know more details soon.

Annual General Meeting

The AGM will be on Sunday 27th May. The format will be some fun rush hockey from 3-4pm and then the AGM to start at 5pm. Attendance was unfortunately poor last year. We are unable to run efficiently as a club if members are unwilling to take an active role in its running. Everyone has busy lives but if we all help in some way, however small, then all of our lives would be made easier. Please make an effort to come to the AGM as it is your chance to have your say!

Dinner and Dance

The dinner and dance is booked for Friday 27th April at the Godolphin Arms in Marazion. Tickets cost £16 per person. If you would like to go then please contact us via the website and we will get in touch with you regarding menu choices. This is a great opportunity for the club to get together socially and we warmly invite your family and friends.

Finals Day at Penzance

The finals of the men and womens cup and plate competitions will be held at penzance hockey club on Sunday 15th Aprill. Ladies plate final - PzII v Caradon II - 11.30am. Mens plate final - Bude v Pz - 12.00pm. Mens cup final - Truro v Bodmin - 1.30pm. Ladies cup final - Falmouth v Newquay - 3.00pm. Please come and join us to support the teams and to enjoy what is sure to be a day of good hockey!

International Hockey

Fancy going to watch international hockey at the olympic park?! Between May 2nd-6th the worlds top 6 teams will be competing against each other as a test run for the olympics. We have arranged a coach to take us to the men and womens finals on sunday 6th May. There are still some seats remaining so if you would like to go please contact Carla via the website. Costs are £52.50 for adults and £42.50 for juniors/students and that will include your travel and hockey tickets.

Money Raised

We raised £123.64 for the club so thank you once again.

Olympics

Penzance Hockey Club has been named as a 'hockey house' during the 2012 olympics.

This means that we can get together and watch the matches at the club. A great social event for current hockey club members and it will be well advertised for the public to come and enjoy the hockey with us.

We will keep you posted when we have more information.
